Packaging
First off, I need to apologize about the condition of my bottle, It’s always kept in the wash room and gets wet all the time hence the wear and tear. As you can probably see, the product comes in a clear plastic bottle with two stickers, one in the front and one at the back, there is a third transparent sticker on the side. And a Golden coloured, vintage styled cap.
The front sticker has Brand and Product information clearly written on it, the sticker at the back gives directions of use, ingredients and some other information. The third sticker gives out more information telling that this product is free from colourants, artificial preservatives, fragrances and metro chemicals. Along with that it gives out information like the brand does not test on animals, and the product is authentic ayurvedic product.
The color of the product is black, yet in hand it looks green, and if observed in sunlight, it looks like a mixture between black and green.
Overall, I liked the packaging of the product, I would have preferred if it had a raised nozzle to easily take out oil. The design of the bottle and its quality feel nothing short of premium.
The stickers stick well to the bottle and don’t come off even with constant exposure to water, the ink (printed stuff) on the stickers never comes off either.
But if you don’t clean the bottle properly, it’ll stick dirt eventually.
It has a liquid consistency, and is not sticky at all but has a very strong scent of herbs which might not be something everyone can tolerate.
My Experience
I decided to give this oil a try after I had been impressed by KAMA AYURVEDA ‘s Rose Conditioner. I’m always on the look out for new products that I can add to my hair care routine, as using only one product for too long lessens its effects. So I got myself a bottle of KAMA AYURVEDA Bringadi Intensive Hair Treatment.
This bottle lasted me 1.5 months. But that was only because I was using it every single day and using a lot of oil since I have long hair. I’ve to say, my hair became really soft and manageable after every single use. Later, since the product said it’s naturally conditioning, I decided to test that statement out, and boy was I glad! I kept skipping conditioner every time I was using this oil on my head and my hair were still that soft and manageable. I was very impressed.
It definitely helped my hair grow out, in the sense, that it protected my hair from damage so I needn’t cut it as often. My hair feel thicker now and I owe that to this product as well as Forest Essentials Bringadi Hair Vitalizer which is also an amazing product!
I am currently using the KAMA AYURVEDA Bringadi Intensive Hair Treatment oil only once a week now, I always alter how frequently I use a product, initially I start with the maximum amount and later keep decreasing the frequency and quantity. Now my bottle lasts me 2 months.
I have really really liked this product and am excited for you guys to try it out too! If you like you can buy it by clicking here.
Will I buy it again?
Most definitely! I’m on my third bottle right now and will buy my fourth one as soon as this one empties out!
Do I Recommend it?
Yes, of course. Specially to those out there who are experiencing, hair fall, or dandruff or premature hair graying. The KAMA AYURVEDA Bringadi Intensive Hair Treatment helped me in curing my hair fall, and got rid off dandruff for me, so it might as well do the same for you!

It is a good hair oil if it can substitute a conditioner. Great review.
It definitely does! It was so conditioning and that too just in 30 minutes, I was amazed!
Hi , here I’m facing hair fall continuesly… Can I use and restore my hair ???
Hi Sathish!
Do you know the root cause of your hair fall? By that, I mean have you had a consultation with a doctor yet?
Different causes of hair fall, call for different treatments.
I can say, if your hair fall is not due to hormonal imbalances, a chronic disease, or thyroid problems. Then this will work in controlling your hair fall.
But you’ll have to give it time, Ayurvedic treatments take time to work. I suggest you regularly use this oil for 3 months as any changes usually take time to reflect, I found this oil to be especially helpful for hair fall due to stress, as that is what I have sometimes.
For regrowing your hair, try onion juice once a week. And remember, hair growth is a slow process, and so the results you notice will be slow as well. The trick here is being consistent and determined to make your hair healthy again.
Try these things and update me on how it has turned out for you. 🙂
I hope this will help!
I have been using it, it is good.
I love the fact that I don’t even need to use conditioner after it and it has really helped me control hair fall.
It most certainly is! It is also one of those oils that I quickly fell in love with myself! Another one I really like is the Parachute Ayurvedic Oil!
I went through your review, will it help in reduction of premature grey hair growth?
Hey Vinay!
It won’t turn already “grey” hair into black but if it’s used regularly it will prevent premature greying of hair.
Having said that, please remember this is an Ayurvedic formulation and they take time to take effect. You can try it out, it should help.
Is there anything else you would like my help with?
Thank you for such a wonderful article dear and from my side I want to say that i am using certified organic raw shea butter from long for my hairs and its really effective. It will improve your hairs for sure so try it once people because This intensive hair care trio consists of a moisture retention shampoo, a restorative conditioner and a deep treatment masque designed to restore natural health to your hair and leave you with beautiful, frizz-free curls.
Thanks, Julia, love reading your comments! I have actually tried shea butter myself and love the way it moisturises my hair 🙂 Thank you for the suggestion!
Can i kno to if we this is only applied on the scalp or should be applied on the length as well
Hi Sonam! You can definitely apply it on the length of your hair. I do it my case and it can be applied to the length 🙂
I have been using this product since last month. I had purchased it because am suffering from severe grey hair. But i couldn’t got any result. Please help me out. My marriage is approaching. Am helpless!
Hi Jasmeet, glad you decided to get in touch. I just want to tell you, that when trying to repair the damage to our hair we often forget the amount of time we spent doing that damage to them. This product helps in preventing premature grey hair. So keep using it, it will help you. You must give it at least three months to be able to see results. I’d like to know if you are using this Oil regularly, every day or just once a week?
I understand that everyone dreams of that perfect day, but at such short notice you can’t expect great results. Healing yourself with Ayurveda is a long process.
For your marriage I’ll suggest you go ahead and colour your hair using the dyes from KAMA Ayurveda as they are 100% natural! And won’t do more damage.
I’d also like to know if you’ve visited your doctor about greying hair, what did he/she tell you? Also, I’ll be able to help you better if you let me know if you’re suffering from any chronic illness, hormonal imbalance and your age. If you want reach me at any or our social handles or send me an e-mail I’ll be happy to get in touch and respond to your queries and help you get the hair of your dreams!
Thank you jane for ur advice. I m using this oil every alternate day ie; thrice in a week. I dnt hv any ill ness or any type of harmonal imbalance. My age is 23years. My hairs starts greying at the age of 13years. Till now i hadn’t done any thing to convert them to black but yes i used to apply heena on my hairs thrice in a year. I’ll definitely go for kama dyes
Hi again,
Did you ever visit a doctor, if you did what did they say? If you’re yet to visit one, I suggest you go and do so. That will help you understand why your hair is greying at just 23. After that, you’ll be able to know the root cause of your problem and it’ll be easier to know what kind of treatment you’ll need.
Please do give me an update after you’ve visited the doctor! 🙂
Ya i hv visited once at the age of 15 but the dctr said there is no solution to convert grey hair to black and he advised me to stop using oil, at that time i was using coconut oil
I’m no doctor myself, whatever I have learned is through experience and trial and error. Along with reading books on the same.
But I think I know why he asked you to stop using coconut oil. It’s because coconut oil has a soothing and cooling affect on our bodies and maybe that’s why it could have aggravated your condition so the doctor told you to stop using coconut oil.
And for your case you may not want to leave any oil in your hair for longer periods of time. Instead just apply them an hour before you wash your hair. There’s also an article on premature gray hair on the website, you might want to read that out. I’ll also advice you to eat healthy foods, and change any unhealthy habits you have. Currently the only option you have is to dye your hair, but I’d recommend using natural ones so that it doesn’t harm your hair because you’re obviously going to be doing it more. Keep using this hair oil for two more months and try to see if you notice a difference. While it may not always colour your hair that are already grey it will prevent more grey hair. Please give this treatment some time, if you still don’t see any results at all, then probably, visiting an Ayurvedic doctor would be a better option so that he can analyse and tell you why this is happening in your case.
I hope that helps you 🙂
Thank you so much for your suggestion. It would really help me
I really hope it does 🙂
May i knw that for how many says kama dyes last on the hairs?
Since their dyes are all natural I don’t think they’ll last as much as the chemical based ones would. I’ve not tried them, but I have found that the quality of KAMA AYURVEDA’s other products to be astonishing. Hence why I suggested it to you.
It’s a natural dye so I’m not sure how long it would last, maybe a little less than the chemically prepared dyes.
After ma delivery M suffering from severe hairfall … I hv tried many oils shampoos but nothing work… not even a medicine… my dr advice me to use tugain 2% solution but tht also didnt work..
Then i hv tried homeopatic medicine … plz suggest me smthing
Hi Shabina,
I’m glad you decided to reach out! I’m not a doctor but my advice comes from my own experience and trial and error.
You should start by finding out the root cause of your hair fall. Get yourself checked for hormonal imbalances, thyroid and any other ailment that maybe causing your hair loss.
Once that is done and you have confirmed it’s not due to a health condition, you will have to improve upon your lifestyle. And eat well. This means following a strict diet that is balanced and healthy, and no junk food. You will have to include 30 minutes of exercise and maintain good sleeping habits. Make sure you have 7-8 glasses of water per day.
This should help with your hair loss. Also, consider piling your hair to strengthen your roots. Weak roots = hair fall.
Try these things out, and get in touch with me again, keep me updated!
And do not take stress! It will aggravate your problem.
Much love,
Jane
My hair had becm too thin and dull..since last 1 year m suffering from hairfall…..
It is also normal to experience hair fall after delivery but it should improve soon if you stick to what I’ve said.
Other things you should do regularly are:
Wash your hair with drinking water and use a mild/Ayurvedic/natural shampoo.
Cn I use dis oil everyday.. . Actually I wash ma hair everyday and I use vatika shampoo….. should I Chang the shampoo
Check your shampoo’s ingredients, if it has parabens, if so you might want to change it because Parabens are not good for you or your hair.
Yes, you can use this oil daily but, wash your hair daily then as well.
I would recommend a milder shampoo, I like Forest Essential shampoo’s but they’re quite pricey.
Hey.. water over here is too hard… So it induced my hairfall.. will it work in such condition… I mean in hard water
Hi Sayali,
I will suggest you to stop washing your hair with hard water. Please use drinking water to wash your hair. Hard water is very bad for your hair, it makes them weak, dry, dull, and brittle. I suggest you use this hair treatment, along with washing your hair with drinking water for at least three months.
Alternatively, also consult with a doctor, get you thryroid, hormonal balance, blood pressure, and vitamin deficiencies checked just to make sure that something else isn’t causing this hair fall. You should also consider adopting a healthy lifestyle, eating well balance food and sleeping on time, waking up on time etc.
Hope this helps,
Jane Vivian
