I probably told you about how much I like experimenting when it comes to skincare. That may or may not be a bad thing (it’s not bad if you know what you’re doing).
This is a semi-DIY post; I’m going to teach you about blending skincare products together to make a fantastic mix that suits your skin!
I have acne prone skin, which gets worse during my lady days. And I use this exact recipe to tame my acne down. Especially when I’m on a budget.
Tea Tree Essential Oil Herbal Face Pack
I like to call this Tea Tree Essential Oil Herbal Face Pack; because it has no chemicals and the anti-acne goodness of Tea Tree Essential Oil. The herbal pack (Khadi) has the goodness of neem, aloe vera, camphor, fuller’s earth and turmeric. All of these ingredients make this herbal face pack a perfect combination and choice to go with this blend as it already has anti-acne properties.
Rose water, is known to give your skin a glowing effect making it soft smooth and supple. Rose water also helps in removing a day’s stress.
Ingredients Needed:
Method of Preparation
- Take a mixing bowl, preferably made of glass but plastic will do just fine as well.
- Take one tablespoon of your Khadi Herbal Face Pack and put it in the mixing bowl.
- Add 1-2 teaspoons of rose water and two drops of tea tree essential oil.
- Mix well until it becomes a paste-like structure.
- Add more of the face pack if you want to tweak the consistency if you feel like it.
- And you’re done!
How long should I keep this pack on my face?
You should keep it on your face for no more than 10 minutes. If you have dry skin, you might want to add some honey in there!
How long can I keep this mixture?
If you’re keeping it refrigerated than no longer than seven days.
I don’t want to use Tea Tree Essential, is that okay?
While I really recommend using this essential oil, it’s alright if you don’t want to. Essential oils are great for your skin, and I love using them! This essential oil only adds to the effectiveness of the herbal face pack we’re making.
Once you buy this essential oil, you can use it for many other beauty things as well!
