What is Neem Oil?
Neem is one of the most powerful, potent blood purifiers and detoxifiers in Ayurveda. It cools fever and clears most inflammatory skin diseases. In cases of Malaria or periodic fevers it is used with black pepper and gentian.
When it is made into a medicated Oil for external use, it relives joint pains and acts as an anti-inflammatory agent.
Neem Oil is usually nothing but neem extracts in seasme oil. This is the most common way it is prepared for external use. Such Oil can be applied directly onto the skin. It is also very effective in healing acne and pmples naturally to attain clear skin.
How to use Neem Oil?
Pure neem extract should not be used externally as it is too strong. If you apply neem oil or paste and it itches too much then that means it is too strong and needs to be diluted with water or Oil. Use seasme Oil to dilute or you may also use drinking water.
Neem can also be administered orally but you shouldn’t take it without the advice of an Ayurvedic doctor. Neem is prepared differently for external and internal administration. The ways mention here are for external usage.

Nice post! I have problem with my hair growth. Is neem oil able to promote faster hair growth?
Hi! Im Glad you liked it!
Oiling your scalp in general promotes hair growth, as massaging oil nourishes the hair and improves blood circulation in the scalp.
Neem Oil is not directly linked to promoting hair growth, however neem oil promotes a healthy scalp since its anti-bacterial and it combats dandruff which in turn will mean, healthy scalp=healthy hair and increased growth.
If you do not suffer from dandruff then i suggest using either olive oil or coconut oil for promoting hair growth. Add 1 drop of rosemary essential oil in upto 20 ml of coconut oil or olive oil and massage into scalp.
That will surely help hair growth.
Good Luck 🙂
