Do not get behind left behind. Get into the groove and keep up with the beauty trends this year.
Here are the most popular beauty trends in 2016:
Velvety red lips
Sport a bold color of lipstick. This full shade has been around ever since, but a matte texture on the red lips adds flare to the look.
Big, thick and bold eyebrows
In the year of the 90’s we all have shaved our eyebrows but who would have thought that a bushy brow would become a hit. It is a fact: Thick eyebrows can make your look younger than you already are. If you do not pluck so much, the brows’ size and shape will look more natural. It would structure your face better, and so you do not need to visit a salon anymore. Ditch your tweezers to look like Brooke Shields!
Messy Buns that are Textured
How ironic, looking undone too requires more effort. Now hairstylists are raking the hair strands and are scrambling in creating uneven imperfect alignments.
Do this by setting up a ponytail. It depends on how high or how low you want it to be. Ditch your comb because you do not need to use it. Leave the imperfections. You do not have to have strands that are slicked back perfectly.
Divide your ponytail into two and three parts. Then, tease. Doing this would add volume and texture so that this look would set it apart from a ballerina appearance.
Divide the hair you teased into two parts and then wrap those in different directions like when you are making a top knot. Do not neatly insert the bobby pins. Secure those one inch below the strands. This should allow fraying around the bun. That would embody a messy tone. If the bun is too tight, pull it back using the end of the comb or with your hands. Pull away rogue hair strands from your face.
Braids
Look trendy with bedhead and beautiful braids. There is a variety of hair style for you to experiment with. Create the plaited updo, fishtail braid, French braid or just make a messy bed head braid. Halo braids are trendy, and these are perfect for any celebrations or festivities. Wear that contemporary masterpiece on your crowning glory.
Blue Eye Shadow
Revive the 70s trend. Get it on with the blue eye shadow. Blue color was trendy last year and is so even now. Apply delicate light strokes to saturated, bold blue hue on the eyelid. Apply in a dash of liner if you are not prepared yet for an intense blue hue. Blue color emanates warmth; that’s for sure.
Rosy cheeks
Red blushed rosy cheeks never go out of style. Being naturally flushed represents a healthy appearance. Blood travels through the tiny blood vessels on our face. This creates a pinkish glow that is associated with good health. Rose describes this shade. When you are active, your face will turn terra-cotta, the face turns rosy. It replicates the inherent appearance of the babies. As you get older, you shed off that effect. That is the reason why we need to recreate that.

I’ve never had bushy brows myself, Yamini. But I know of models that can really carry them, red velvety lips are my favourite too! 🙂
