Ayurvedic Remedies For Warts And Corns:
Liquorice
Botanical Name: Glycyrrhiza glabra
Indian Name: Mulethi

The herb heals corns which are just appearing. A paste made of liquorice sticks (Powdered) mixed with Sesame oil rubbed into the hardened skin at bed time softens the skin and decreases the corn’s size.

Botanical Name: Calendula officinalis
Indian Name: Saldbargh or Zergul

For warts: A juice of leaves can be applied on warts for relief.
For Corns: Sap extracted from the stem should be applied for relief.
Indian Squill
Botanical Name: Urginea indica
Indian Name: Jungli piyaz
A bulbous plant with smooth surface. It has egg-shaped, long, dull white or pale, thick bulbs measuring 5-10 cm. It has extremetly narrow leaves and light brown flowers.
For removing warts: Powder the bulb of the plant and apply on affected area.
For Corns: A poultice of roasted bulb should be applied on the affected area.
Other Natural Remedies For Warts and Corns:
- Mash a garlic clove and rub it over the warts or the corn once a day.
- Extract Pineapple juice from fresh pineapple and apply it several times a day over warts or the corn with a cotton ball.
- Chop onions, sprinkle salt and leave overnight, apply resulting juice over the affected area twice a day.
Humble Note:
Whatever remedy you decide to use, keep in mind that each person is different, some of these may work for you and be extremely effect while others may not be as effective, the trick lies in finding out which one works the best for you. All the remedies mentioned above are very legit and I have collected them from various Ayurveda books after intensive research in my local library over the years, In my own experience Liquorice and sesame oil worked best for me when I suffered a corn. When my best friend had warts garlic worked best for her.
Also keep in mind if you are pregnant then I suggest going to an Ayurvedic or Allopathic doctor as not all herbal remedies are safe to use in pregnancy.
