My Review:
- Using the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse as a Hair serum
I have been using the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse as a hair serum after shampooing and conditioning my hair. I use a shampoo that is SLES free and Ayurvedic. It is a very mild shampoo thus it does not perform too well if I use hair serums with silicones as those lead to build up in my hair eventually. I tried using pure olive oil and even coconut oil in place of hair serum but that did leave my hair a bit greasy and the fragrance was not too pleasant either. When I saw the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse and read its ingredients I was really impressed and I decided to give it a try. I must say that it has found a permanent place in my chemical free, natural hair care routine. I have naturally curly hair, and it it is prone to frizz. The Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse keeps my hair frizz free, softens the hair and it does not leave it greasy at all.
Comparing the softness it provides to a silicone based serum would be unfair. Only because silicones will provide much more “soft to touch” hair but those results are just temporary. This Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse oil on the other hand will repair and nourish your hair and the results won’t be just temporary.
- Using Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse as a beauty serum for face
I have Oily/combination skin prone to acne, however in winters my skin feels like it lacks moisture and it feels dry. I used the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse after washing my face and toning it. I skipped moisturizer for whole 2 weeks at night and would only use the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse as a beauty serum. My skin felt moisturized, it did not clog my pores and my skin felt softer and supple and amazing to touch.
However, I noticed that is could not be used in day time routine as it is an oil and when out and running errands I just felt that more dirt stuck to my face than usual. It is not greasy but your makeup will not last much if you are wearing this in the daytime. However you may use it as moisturizer before applying primer and then it should not give you any problems.
I, personally prefer to use it as an overnight natural beauty treatment. Since it is on the expensive side, I do not use it as daily in day time routine, where I felt that a normal moisturizer will also do the trick.
Will I buy It Again?
Yes, It has a permanent place in my Hair care Routine as my Natural- silicone free hair serum. I love its results.
