Packaging

This scrub comes in a cute compact plastic bottle with a tin lid. This bottle is completely leak proof, so if you are carrying it in your bag because it is also a convenient size for carrying, you need not worry about the product leaking in your bag and messing up all the contents of your bag. It also has a printed-on-paper label which since its paper water will fade it away. Sadly, It does not mention all ingredients on the scrub itself, only the key ingredients but happily, people at Vkare are very friendly and provided us with a complete ingredient list.

Detailed Review

I have acne prone skin and tend to suffer the wrath of under skin pimples. Using a harsh or strong scrub was never an option for me as my skin it too sensitive and I used to end up with “pink rashes” or flake away skin and that is where this scrub really shined for me, it is a gentle scrub which can be used daily, which means that within a week I had gotten rid of all my blackheads and they didn’t really come back since I was scrubbing daily. 

This Green Tea cream-based scrub did not leave my skin “squeaky” clean and left my skin feeling smooth and soft, thereby controlling over-production of oil. My skin felt cleansed but still retained its softness due to the scrub’s creamy texture which also sports a refreshing fragrance, at least I found the fragrance appealing. 

When I used this scrub on my body I felt it was a bit too gentle and so I really liked it better for my face also because of the cream base nature of the product. 

Due to the fact that this Green tea scrub is cream-based, I think it would also work great for people with dry and sensitive skin who want a scrub they can use every day without making their skin too dry and causing it to flake. 

Do I recommend it ?

Yes! My Hunt for a mild every day, rejuvenating scrub stopped at this scrub. I recommend it to people who have sensitive skin or those who do not like using harsh scrubs and would like to use a cream based scrub that isn’t too abrasive on the skin.
