DIY : All Natural and Herbal Anti-Ageing Hand Lotion

Material Required

Sandalwood Essential Oil (5 drops)

Cornflour (As mush required to thicken the paste)

Glycerin (2 Tablespoons)

Vitamin E oil such as Evion 500 (1 Drops)

Empty container     (Preferably Glass but plastic may also be used. (I personally, prefer glass because plastic is not eco-friendly and also glass is non-reactive in nature, so it is more beneficial to store herbal mixtures in glass.)

Method

Heat 2 tablespoon glycerin on medium flame and gradually add cornflour to it so the mixture thickens. Remember to not turn the flame to high. The thickness should be so that if you lift the spoon that you and missing with, the mixture forms a peak somewhat similar to ice creams.

Once reached your desired consistency for your all Natural and Herbal Anti-Ageing Hand Lotion, Remove from heat and add rosewater to alter the consistency. The required thickness should be kept medium, not too runny and not too thick. The thickness should be ideal to those of any market bought hand lotion or can be according to your preference.

Keep stirring the mixture for about 8 mins at a normal pace, let it cool down to room temperature.

Now add Essential Oil and Vitamin E oil and mix thoroughly again.

Notes:

Refrigeration is not necessary but keep away from sunlight and heat. Store in a cool place.

The Shelf Life is two weeks and hence, I advise you to not make it in huge quantities so as to avoid wasting it later.
