Keeping a big branch of neem tree in the room acts as in air purifier and disinfectant, preventive in case of malaria and cholera. A neem leaf decoction taken with pepper powder lowers the temperature.

30 gms of onions, 7 black peppers and 2 gms sugar finely pounded and given to patient to help lessen vomiting and diarrhoea immediately, this is every effective in cholera.
Poppy Seeds

An infusion of the root is given as a febrifuge or fever relieving drink, also helps keep cholera in check. This preparation however should not be given to infants, young children and best avoided for pregnant ladies as opium can be very dangerous is used without proper administration from an Ayurvedic Doctor.
Rough Chaff
Botanical Name: Achyranthes aspera
Indian Name: Chirchita
Natural Herbal Ayurvedic Remedy:
6 gm powdered root of the herb should be mixed with room temperature water and taken once a day.
P.S. Above mentioned recipes are all beneficial in treatment of cholera, some more than others. Since each person is unique not all of the remedies will have the same effect on everybody. I know from personal experience that fenugreek tea is great for almost all kinds of fevers and it works great for me, I sweeten it with honey. I have never had cholera but I have heard that the Clove Ayurvedic Remedy works great from people that have had cholera and recovered.
