The 25th of February, 2017 (New Delhi) was the day the #BergerXP IndiBlogger Meet took place at Vivanta by Taj.

This was our second IndiBlogger meet. And knowing IndiBlogger we had high expectations from the event. And IndiBlogger just blew us away, everything was top notch. If you’re a blogger based in India, we recommend you join IndiBlogger now!

What Went On In The #BergerXp IndiBlogger Meet – New Delhi

Blogger Meets are so much fun, and the #BergerXP blogger meet was no exception! After a very long lunch session (The host literally had to hint people to leave the lunch venue :P) the meet began with a very fun “get-to-know” each other activity.

Every blogger was given an envelope with five papers in it. These papers randomly had information about other bloggers and it was your duty to find out whose papers you got! It was such an energetic activity and gave a boost of energy to all bloggers in the meet.

Next up, was Mr. Vinod Das telling the bloggers all about the Berger Express Painting System, and shortly after that the floor was opened for Q/A turned interrogation and we remember Mr. Das saying, while he addressed the audience, “You guys are too smart, don’t make me take out all my cards” when he spoke about some future innovations that the company was working on.

All the Fun Things

A blogger meet with no fun activities? That’s not even a thing! Bloggers were divided into teams, and just to give them some hands-on experience, they were made to sand a board that mimicked a wall texture.

All we want to say is that it was dusty, and that tiny little block took forever to sand with so many people working at just that one block. Imagine the time it would’ve taken us to do a full wall. And that’s why my friend, we’re bloggers, not sand-ers… if that’s even a word.

We quickly understood how important and revolutionary Berger Paints’ Express Painting system is. Automated tools are the way to go. Especially if it doesn’t come at an extra cost (Bloggers were literally shocked at that and asked the same question over and over again, you know, just to be sure.)

Interestingly, we also had a really fun-filled painting session, and we got to know that there’s a reason we’re bloggers and not painters (now that’s a real word)! We can’t paint. But it was so easy to mix and play around with the paints that despite producing a visually disturbing painting, we were still very happy.

You know that thing which motivates a lot of people to work? It’s called money, my friend. And the #BergerXP IndiBlogger Meet was generous and kind to us. Bloggers usually tweet, post status updates and upload selfies on Instagram when they attend a blogger meet.

What we didn’t know though was that our normal efforts will be rewarded! Many bloggers were given out Amazon Gift Vouchers, Free Visits to the dentists (XD, just kidding), and some more vouchers!

We won one ourselves, over a meme tweet that we did, an unexpected surprise that we loved.
