For years, puffy eyes have been the most common beauty problem. But I’ll tell you, it’s a very common problem everyone has faced at least at some point in their lives, irrespective of their age or gender.
Some people get puffy eyes due to lack of sleep often called as bags under eyes, others just naturally have puffy eyes.
But whatever may be your cause of puffy eyes, you can still avoid them.
Myself I’ve had puffy eyes naturally, and sometimes they’re too puffed up and people would tell me I have swelling under my eyes, or I overslept. So I tried many different ways to reduce this “puff” under my eyes, while people with naturally puffy eyes will never get rid of all their puff, at least it won’t look like your eyes are swelled.
And those of you, getting puffy eyes due to lack of rest, luckily for you, you will see that puff reducing and gone, also it’s important to sleep better if you want to get rid of this for good.
So here’s my pick of the methods that work the best:
➤ Gently tap your skin with your ring finger when you’re applying eye cream. This reduces puffiness of the eyes as it encourages extra fluid to drain away.
➤ Coldness helps in reducing puffiness, store your eye creams in the refrigerator.
➤ Starch present in potatoes tighten skin, so cut thin strips of potato and put these strips under your eyes, leave for 10 minutes and then remove.
➤ Take some ice cold rose water and soak 2 cotton wool pads in it, lie down, and place on your eyes. Replace these cotton wool pads with fresh ones as soon as they become warm. Repeat for 10 minutes.
These two are both really good and trustable brands that make Pure Rose Water.
➤ Take some chilled milk and soak cotton pads in it, then put on your eyes and keep replacing when they become warm, repeat for 15 minutes, this will also brighten up the whites of your eyes.
➤ This one is great for when you’re short on time. Pick a slice of cucumber for both the eyes and put on for 5 minutes daily. You know cucumber’s been used for this from a very long time. Make sure the cucumber is chilled.
➤ Teabag treatment is also great for eyes. Just make some tea and refrigerate the teabag, put this tea bag on each eye for 10 minutes each.
I hope you give these treatments a try and let me know if they worked for you as well!
